Being Creative from Within
I am offering a variety of felting classes where you can learn new skills or improve your felting skills.
I offer one to two day classes up to 5 students.
They are held in my studio, conveniently located in Ganges at 127 Rainbow Road, Salt Spring Island.
I am a professional feltmaker and educator and support every student, whether you are new to feltmaking or have experience, and will guide you through with your creations from idea to finished felted project.
From Fleece to Form #1 - Sunday, February 22 (11am - 5pm) - Beginner Level
Step into the magic of felting a seat pad with richly textured Bergschaf and Scandinavian Pelsull batts, accented by flowing Gotland and Cotswold locks. No merino here - just soulful wool with a story.
Created especially from sheep keepers and wool lovers who dream of transforming their flock’s fleece into something beautiful and lasting.
All materials provided. Bring a bit of your own carded wool if you like — we may have time for a small personal sample.

Nuno Felted Neckwear
Join us for a fun and creative class where you will craft a unique scarf accessory from start to finish. I will introduce you to various felting techniques and layouts using silk fabric and fine merino wool in many colors. These techniques are useful for many other felting projects. You will gain plenty of hands-on felting experience during this class.
With a small class of a maximum of 5 people, you’ll receive lots of individual attention. Come with an open mind and an adventurous spirit.
